How to Set Up a Mimosa Bar
To set up a mimosa bar, you’ll need to gather a few bartending essentials and have enough bubbly, juice, and stemware for each guest to enjoy 1-3 beverages.
Choosing a Champagne or Sparkling Wine
Let’s get the technical stuff out of the way first. “Champagne” is only genuinely called by that name if it comes from the Champagne region of France; otherwise, it’s simply called “sparkling wine.” Prosecco is a sparkling wine that comes from Italy, while Cava is a sparkling wine that comes from Spain.
Adding in the Juice
The only limit to your juice offering is your imagination…and space constraints. Choose three of the following options:
Orange juice (obviously)
Peach juice (or white peach puree for Bellinis)
Lavender lemonade
Pomegranate juice
Grapefruit juice
Mango juice
Strawberry lemonade
Raspberry lemonade
Including Fruit Garnishes
To add flair to your mimosa bar, you can include a few small fruits to garnish the beverage. Raspberries, strawberries, peaches, blackberries, or blueberries work well for this purpose. Just remember to cut larger pieces of fruit so there’s room for the bubbly!
Other essential items to include:
Ice buckets or beverage tub (to keep the juices and bubbly chilled)
Serving dishes for fruit garnishes
Tongs and small spoons
